On February 7, 2025, our NGO Hari Anmol Jeevan Sansthan successfully conducted a Financial Literacy Awareness Program at Ujjaini Gram Panchayat, in Basti District, Uttar Pradesh. The program was designed to educate and empower the local community with essential financial skills and knowledge.
The primary aim of the session was to spread awareness about:
#Budgeting – Understanding income, planning expenses, and managing finances efficiently
#Savings – Encouraging a culture of saving for emergencies and future needs
#Digital_Banking – Introducing secure ways of using mobile and online banking services
#Cybersecurity – Educating on safe online financial practices and how to avoid scams
#Government_Financial_Schemes – Informing citizens about available welfare and subsidy programs for economic upliftment
The session saw enthusiastic participation from villagers of all age groups. Through interactive talks, demonstrations, and open Q&A rounds, the community engaged deeply with the topics discussed.
We extend our special thanks to all the participants, the Gram Panchayat representatives, the Panchayat Secretary, and our dedicated volunteers who made this program a meaningful success. Your involvement and support are the pillars of change in rural financial awareness.
As we continue to bridge the gap between resources and people, we remain committed to building a more informed, secure, and financially empowered society — one village at a time.
